IMPORTANT: Sadly, due to the recent developments regarding the COVID-19 virus, our visit to The ICJ and KSC will not be able to go ahead as scheduled. Therefore, registering for the event is no longer possible. We will be looking into rescheduling our visit to these institutions somewhere later this year, so keep an eye out on our website and social media and join us then!
Join Urios on the 7th of April as we visit both the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the Kosovo Specialist Chambers!
The ICJ is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations and therefore quite interesting to visit. We will be given a presentation concerning the work of the Court as well as a tour of the building.
The Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office are part of the judicial system of Kosovo. They were established by a Constitutional Amendment and a Law adopted by the Kosovo Assembly to conduct trials for allegations stemming from the 2011 Council of Europe report, which alleges serious violations of international law. We will be given a presentation concerning the mandate, jurisdiction and structure of the KSC as well as a presentation from the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office and a tour of the Court Room.
Interested and want to join? Sign up using the registration-function below!
Both Urios members and non-members are more than welcome to join!

NOTE: By registering for this event you agree to be present during our visit to both the ICJ and the KSC. You agree that it is only possible to cancel in case of unforeseen circumstances and only before the 3rd of April 12 PM. If you do not show up or cancel after the cancellation deadline you will have to pay the cancellation fee of €5,-.
