Ambassador Keith Harper: The Role of the International Community in advancing Human Rights

Urios Study Association for International and European law is very proud to announce its first lecture of the new academic year. Ambassador Keith Harper, Representative of the United States to the UN Human Rights Council, will be in the Netherlands for just two days and has agreed to give a lecture on the Role of the International Community in advancing Human Rights. Previously, Mr. Harper was a partner at a major law firm, served as a judge and served on the President's Commission on White House FellowshipsConsidering the current human rights crises in Iraq and Syria, the topic of Mr. Harper’s lecture is particularly pressing and relevant.
